|Recommended: YesGood, But Needs Improvement. — It’s a great apartment for first time renters. The lease staff is hit or miss. I’ve had great experiences where they’ve been friendly, and other times they’re flat out rude. Otherwise, it’s a solid choice.

|Recommended: YesRough Start That Worked Out Well — After some miscommunication at the beginning of moving in.. Once my issues were addressed properly the maintenance guy was right on top of it THANKS BRIAN They had my problems worked out in 1 day Every place has issues and they were extremely apologetic once we realized my issues were missed at 1st.

|Recommended: YesSo Far So Good — The leasing staff was incredible Move in day was wonderful as there is so much room to park moving vehicles without getting in the way. I can't hear anything in my apartment from outside which is wonderful. I am disappointed so far as there were several work orders placed on the day I received my keys 3 21 and nothing has been done so far, nor has anyone reached out to me.
|Recommended: YesQuiet, Clean And Conveniently Located Apartment — I moved into Forest Village and Woodlake last August after spending a horror year at another complex roaches, smoke, homeless people sleeping in our hallways . I love living at Forest Village I plan to stay here throughout all 4 years of medical school.
Pros My apartment backs out to trees, which I absolutely love because it feels very private. Appliances are fairly newish and work well especially their in-unit laundry appliances . The heater and A C are both excellent. The apartment itself is very spacious, the living room is especially large and roomy. Pretty quiet community overall, I rarely hear outside noises very important to me as a medical student . They allow 2 pets per unit and do not discriminate based on breed THANK YOU . Cute little dog park. The pool is very clean and well maintained. This apartment complex is very convienetly located. Walmart is less than 5 minutes away, Hy-Vee is right up the road, there is a gas station 1 minute away. Most importantly, I do feel safe at this facility and most of my neighbors have been friendly.
Cons Buildings need new carpet Mine have stains everywhere and just look extremely worn. I just put lots of area rugs down. Hot water runs out quickly if you take baths. Wifi is through CenturyLink and they kind of suck. Poor insulation, the door to my deck lets in SO much cold air same story with the window in my bedroom . Management never answers phones, however, we are under a new company now so we will see if this improves.
Overall, I have had a great experience living here so far though
